Type-loc: Spain

As in all species of the Rusticus subgenus, siphon with dorsal setae. Pecten with irregular spaced teeth, seta 1-S inserted before or after its apex; apical seta 9-S hooked; setae 1-P and 13-III with 3 and 2 branches, respectively; comb with 8 to 12 scales.
