Aedes albescens (F)
Aedes albescens Edwards, 1921
Type-loc: Western Siberia, Russia
Aedes albescens and Aedes subdiversus are closely related species. While Aedes albescens samples are larger and light coloured, Aedes subdiversus are smaller and darker coloured.
Ae. stramineus on the other hand, is different than Ae. albescens by having pale bands on the tarsomere.
