Sergentomyia (Sintonius) sattii (Qutubuddin, 1962)

CARACTERES DIAGNOSTIQUES
Sintonius à fémurs inermes. Ce phlébotome rappelle S. clydei mais s’en distingue par l’armature cibariale et de nombreuses mensurations aussi bien chez la femelle que chez le mâle.

DESCRIPTION
Phlebotomus sattii Qutubuddin, 1962. Annals and Magazine of Natural History, 4 : 593-611 [Mâle, femelle].
Statut actuel : Lewis, 1973.

TYPE
Holotype femelle, allotype mâle, Soudan : 48 km au nord de Khashm el Girba, rive ouest de la rivière Atbara, Sasreiba, steppe (Natural History Museum, Londres).

Biotopes : steppe (cette espèce n'a pas encore été signalée en dehors de sa localité-type).
Fluctuations : inconnues.
Développement larvaire : inconnu.
Préférences trophiques : inconnues.
Importance médicale : rôle vecteur inconnu.
