TYPE
Holotype femelle, Kenya : Wajir, brousse et forêt épineuse, 1943 ; Mâle : Soudan : Wad el Shajara. (Natural History Museum, Londres).

BIOLOGIE
Biotopes : zones de savane arbustive.
Développement larvaire: inconnu.
Fluctuations : inconnues.
Préférences trophiques : cette espèce a été capturée sur l’homme, mais elle est très rodentophile.
Importance médicale : cette espèce a été trouvée porteuse de trypanosome.
