Phlebotomus riouxi Depaquit, Léger & Killick-Kendrick, 1998
Subgenus: Paraphlebotomus Theodor, 1948
Males of P. chabaudi and P. riouxi are distinguished from the other Paraphlebotomus males by their characteristic aedegus (parameral sheath) with pointed tip. The male of P. riouxi differs from that of P. chabaudi by the larger size of its basal lobe of the gonocoxite and the greater number of hairs it has.
