Phlebotomus mongolensis (F)

Phlebotomus mongolensis Sinton, 1928
Subgenus: Paraphlebotomus Theodor, 1948

Females of P. andrejevi, P. caucasicus, and P. mongolensis can be easily distinguished from the other Paraphlebotomus females by their weakly developed pharyngeal armature. But discrimination of these three species by using morphological characters are impossible.
