Phlebotomus alexandri Sinton, 1928
Subgenus: Paraphlebotomus Theodor, 1948

Male P. alexandri is easily distinguished from the other Paraphlebotomus males by its short AIII (3rd antennal segment) and its gonocoxal basal lobe with an enlarged head on a narrow neck.
