Anopheles ainshamsi (Gad, Harbach and Harrison, 2006)

The palmate setae of An. stephensi are fully developed only on segments II to VII; on segment I, these setae are formed of only 8 to 10 narrow leaflets. Leaflets of An. ainshamsi I-IV-VII are usually lanceolate or have weekly developed shoulders and a short filament.
In An. multicolor, palmate setae are present only on segments II to VII.
