Anopheles plumbeus (F)

Anopheles plumbeus (Stephens, 1828)
Type-loc: North Ireland

Characterised by almost lightly whorled antenna and 5th palpal segment ornate with ruffled scales giving a widened shape to segments. Morphologically similar to An. claviger and An. petragnani but smaller and dark coloured.
